The other day I did a google search on my brother by typing in his name. Wow, I found out that he had a blog and a book on travel for sale, which I never knew before.
All these years that he has been living away from us, what he has done and travelled were revealed. So much information about him that was not known to me before was on the computer screen. In this internet era, we get to know each other through the net. Information and knowledge are so abundant that it becomes kind of scary.
But to find out who someone really is, you need to deal with them on a personal level. There is a chinese saying: " A long raod reveals the strength of a horse, a long period reveals the true character of a person."
Yes, character is the backbone of one's quality. Do not be fooled by all the titles, status, wealth, power and external attributes. Only with the use of our "heart" we can touch and be connected with another person's "heart".
