Smooth Movement

This morning yoga class was Gentle Hatha. The instructor asked us to move as slow as our breathe with mindfulness.

While I was making movements slowly, the second hand of a Rolex watch came to my mind.

My brother taught me to notice the smooth movement of the second hand of a Rolex watch. That smooth movement distinguishes a good watch from a cheap watch, it tells the differences in quality and craftsmanship.

Although in yoga we learn not to be judgmental, our movements do reflect the capability of our Gross Body, the strength of our Subtle Body and the mindfulness of our Causal Body.
